New blog, new beginning…

So it is ‘Hello WordPress’…

After blogging with Blogger since October 2004, I am setting my sights
onto the starting blocks again…

I’d like to believe that by (leaving Blogger and) re-starting this blog
under WordPress brings about another meaning in my life, probably together
with millions of Malaysians…

Fifth of May marks the day for the 13th General Elections in Malaysia…

For 55 years (since 1957), Malaysia has been governed by a single
political entity…

This entity, the National Front, is a collection of several political
parties grounded on racial lines and their policies are based on racial
undertones…

Over the decades, this bunch of politicians may have contributed to the
development of the country, but enough is enough…

Being in control of the government for so long has led to believe and
behave as if Malaysia belongs to them…

They are corrupted and inept, and have fattened themselves at the expense
of the citizens…

When the election results come out on 6th May 2013, I pray that we
citizens of Malaysia would have given all of them a solid kick on their
butts…

With this note on a new and hopeful Malaysia, I am re-launching my blog as I once again, humbly, remain a Kedahan-Malaysian…

    • cocomino… you are the very first person to comment on my new blog… thank you for starting the ball rolling…

  1. Oh this is certainly memorable for me too, as I know you created this while you’re in my hometown. This blog gives a real different tone than your former blog, that i followed also for sometime. I guess this might be a bit heavy on more big issues.

    • Hi Andrea… thank you so much for coming by to see us last Saturday… it was an honor and a pleasure to see you in person… yes, I launched this blog at Anilao… and I am happy about it…

      • Sorry Lrong, my comment on the other post is I am looking for this comment, haha. When i came back here to this post it was here, so sorry, ‘slip of the eyes’. On 2nd thoughts, i wonder what i will be doing if blogger will already be out because i am not good in following computer instructions.

  2. Hello Lrong Lim, so nice to see u at wordpress.com This is what the blogger.com had been doing or pulling around with my blogs too, that was why I seldom posted of late! Yeah, we r all at hearts to our Country Msia, everybody is a big BOSS today, yeah! See what;s next in the next 5 yrs!

    • You too, with the problems at Blogger… good to know that I am not alone… anyway, just found out the results of the election… PR improved from 2008 but still, rather disappointing…

  3. Hello Lrong, I have quit blogging dued to problems with eblogger too. I am glad you are still blogging as I enjoy visiting yours. Congrats on your new blog home. Looking forward to your beautiful pictures.

  4. hi LrongLim san…

    • Hi, so nice to hear from you again… am grinning while reading about your case… with blogger, if you keep away from that +1 thingy, then it should be ok…

  5. “No one can go back and make a brand new start, however anyone can START from now and make a brand new ending.” ~ Carl Bard.. Blog on LrongLim. Of late Bananaz kinda slowed down with eyes problem & constant headaches and shall take it easy.

  6. Hi, I’ve read your first blog and thought that you are saying goodbye to blogging for good, and I was kinda sad! But presto, you have come to a whole new level, wordpress, you made me smile again!
GE13 is pretty disappointing! Instead of moving forward, it is with sadness to read the daily news at finger pointing and racists remarks.
Congratulations on your fabulous new site! Have a lovely weekend!
